You Will Never get less than 150 in physics if you read These BOOKS for NEET PREPARATION
Hey NEET ASPIRANT!!!!
I HOPE YOUR PREPARATION IS GOING JHAKAAS!!!
This is the question that occurs during the preparation of NEET that which book is best for their physics study and some students get confused during the selection of book for their study So now I'm gonna help you and prefer you that which book is best for your study If you are looking for best book for physics so you can choose NCERT book because most of the questions are from NCERT book and you can also choose the option of HC Verma but firstly I suggest you to choose NCERT and read this book at least thrice Because as per my experience most of the questions are from NCERT and once you are master in it then you can score such a higher score in your neet go through each and every chapter of NCERT and also learn the basics and concepts of NCERT Solve every numerical and examples of the book and if you are having any thoughts of leaving physics or taking it to light so never do that because if you neglect your physics then you couldn’t get a good score in your exam.
Just be clear with the basics and also make a short note of the examples and formulas while you are studying and once you complete your chapters then it is easy to revise all the chapters that you prepared for your exams.
and I will also suggest you give attention on those chapters in which you are weak give some time to those chapters and practice as much as you can and the only coaching is not enough for you to do some self-study at your home because as much as you learn as much as you gain I know that coaching helps you to score more but if you do self-study then you can score more.
Arise awake and stop not till the goal is reached.
If you understand the basics of NCERT then you can easily solve the questions of NEET 2020 for the preparation of NEET you have to prepare your Class 11th and 12th Physics and maths and understand every topic and units very well.
Some Important Chapters of Physics:
Kinematics,
Electricity,
Magnetism,
are the important chapters of physics if you prepared these chapters very well so you can get a much higher score in your neet exam.
For understanding the formulas solve 30 questions every day and also give a full-length mock test and through this you will know the pattern of the question and also you will analyze that how you are preparing for your exam and this will help you to improve your basics skills. and try to increase your writing speed because in neet you will have 180 min for 180 questions which means that on per question you will have 1 minute only so practice as much as you can and try to increase your speed.
For the stronger base, you must go thoroughly HC Verma. Buy some test series which help you revise in the last months. they give you an idea that which type of question is going to be asked in NEET. This really helps you in physics because you cannot read your notebook again and again so I prefer that in the last month of revision revise all your previous year question paper.
For practicing MCQs must go through with the objectives of NCERT Physics Gear Up you will find so many MCQs for practicing Physics.
The books that prove out to be really supportive at scoring high in NEET are as follows:
- Class 11th and 12th NCERT book it will help you to clear your basics and concepts.
- Practice Arihant previous year question papers.
- For Solving examples or exercises go thoroughly, HC Verma.
- Also, revise the Notes that you prepared during your study time.
If you see previous year physics paper then you will find that 15 to 20 questions are repeated every time from last year's paper. so Keep on practicing and wishing you all the best for your exams.
Let me clear your mind if you are having thoughts of leaving physics or taking it lite! thinking that medical students are not so good with it. Never do that! I repeat never do that! I am an engineering student and even I am not good with physics, not at all! I neglected physics all the time and that’s the reason why I couldn’t score good in my exams.
Now all I am saying is that do not neglect physics, just be clear with the basics and write down all the formulas in a book and make sure you know them all! It’s only when you are good with all the subjects, you are going to get a very good score in NEET.
So here is a list of books for PHYSICS for NEET:
- NCERT : Always prioritize this! NCERT books are the primary reference books for all higher secondary subjects by the Central Board for Secondary Education. It is possible to crack the Exam by reading and understanding the NCERT books exhaustively! But make sure you read other materials too.
- Coaching notes: You can read your coaching material.Make sure you are well versed with it ,complete all the exercises and practice sessions. Other than this,Allen and Akash coaching notes are highly recommended for preparation of NEET / AIIMS / JIPMER along with NCERT.
After you are done with the above two books, go to:
- Concepts of Physics Vol I and II by H.C.Verma -
Known for: Concept Building, Basic Numericals, Simple Language, Methodically organized
- Concepts are extensive, logical and engaging
- Best pick for beginners to have a complete grasp on the subject

4. Concepts of Physics for CBSE PMT, by Agarwal-
Known for: Practice problems
- One of the most popular books for medical entrance exams as it caters to nearly all types of students
- Has numerous questions of the same difficulty level as NEET
- Also contains questions of different difficulty levels, based on other medical exams
I am no expert in physics, I took this information from Exambazaar and shared here . Not just physics , you can visit Exambazaar to get all about your exam preparation in no time! Just google- NEET Exambazaar.
To crack a prominent competitive exam like NEET, you have to choose the best source for you. NCERT physics is considered a mandatory for NEET. You must study NCERT , not only study but you must be thorough with the textbook and must have solved or tried solving all the problems on your own.
But can it be considered the best book?
I agree that NCERT is mandatory but it is not enough to get a good score in NEET. As it is a competition and every other student would have read NCERT. According to my estimate 10 Lacks out of 16 lacks would have studied NCERT Physics. everyone will be using It is just like a stepping stone. Concepts of Physics by HC Verma sir is considered for Physics is considered one of the best Indian physics text book for competitive exams.
If you are able to comprehend and solve all the problems in the textbook you are more than prepared for NEET physics but if you are not able to understand and solve everything from this text book it is not a major issue because sometimes it goes way beyond what is needed for NEET exam. This is one drawback of studying HC Verma for physics.
What I would suggest is that you should also check out the video lectures of different topics . You get many courses, some are free and for others you have to pay.
It is recommended that you should try out the courses that provide the best video and materials . Free courses may not provide you the same quality of education as that by Kaysons or Etoos.
I would personally recommend Kaysons because they provide students with very quality video lectures in both online and offline methods. They provide students with study materials, regular mock tests, 24 x 7 doubt removal sessions where students can personally get their doubts cleared by faculty, an efficient study planner, and a portal with over 30000 practice problems. They provide all this at a very cheap price that is rs. 13,500/- .
Due to all these reasons I feel that Kaysons online course is very helpful for strengthening your physics and other subjects preparation for NEET examination.
Let's discuss some best books and strategies by which you can score easily 140–150.We will discuss whole process in 3 stages.
1st stage-
If you see previous year physics paper you will find almost 15–20 questions are repeated every time from last year papers. Their data may be different but concepts are same. For example
- From electrostatic portion they give you Electric field equation with different axis and you have to find out electric potential at any particular axis. When you see your previous year paper you will find these of question in consecutive years .
- When you come in Magnetic field portion , they give you different shapes of wire and you have to find Magnetic field magnitude and direction.
- In Rigid body dynamic rolling without slipping problems are among the favourite topic NEET.
If you figure out every topic , you will find 2–3 traditional questions .First you have to prepare these questions . By this strategies You will easily get almost 20 question in your neet paper.
2nd stage-
8–10 questions are direct formula based questions. So memories all the important formula from every topic . Try to make a short note of it . At the end of every chapter write it and revise it as much as possible.
3rd stage-
Theses questions are actually rank decider . This can be solve if you have a strong knowledge of that particular topic . For this I would like to recommend some standard books which are generally use by toppers. You can go through HC Verma or DC pandey physics. Both are best for NEET.
Lastly I want to say physics is nothing without concept and practice. Try to understand the basic concepts of each topic and practice problems as much as you can do.
All the best!!
